Open Letter to UEA: Regarding the Refusal to Display Pride Flag for LGBT History Month

On numerous occasions the Union has requested that UEA display the Pride flag to mark LGBT+ events so that the university might demonstrate its devotion to promoting equality and support of the LGBT+ community. However, these requests have been refused or met with silence. In response to these refusals, the Union has written an open letter to the University in order to express disappointment with this decision.

  1. Do those in favour of the LGBT+ flag being flown support the idea that all other groups, that the Uni supports the ideals of, should also be allowed to have their flag flown on important occasions?
