“I’m really excited for Go Global week. I spent the third year of my degree in the United States and it was one of the most exciting, different, challenging and fun years of my life. As an American Studies student, I went to the University of Rhode Island on the East Coast of America. Living in a house with students from both around the world and from within the United States was really exciting; we bonded over our cultural differences and tried out lots of new things like cooking for each other and celebrating national days.
I was lucky enough to spend an entire year meeting people from different cultures and made some brilliant friends to go along with it, who are spread across every continent. Go Global Week is about celebrating different cultures so get involved and try something completely new – we’ve got a whole host of events going on so there’s something for everyone!”
