With just days to go before the student finance deadline date (29 June),
Student Finance England (SFE) is urging East Anglia students returning to
university this year to make sure their applications are complete in time.
Around 46,000 students from East Anglia have already applied for finance,
including 27,000 returning students and 19,000 starting university for the
Student Finance England has made the process easy for returning students,
with many simply having to return a signed declaration form to confirm
Blair Campbell, Student Finance Consultant for East Anglia region, said:
“Returning students attending universities in the area, such as the
University of East Anglia or Norwich University, should get their finance
“If you are applying for student finance that depends on your household
income you need to reapply, while pre-approved applications just need to be
signed and returned.
“By applying in plenty of time students won’t have to worry that their
tuition fees are in place and their maintenance loans and grants are ready
to be paid to cover books and accommodation, if required.
“The deadline for new students was 31 May and prospective students from the
area should also apply now to prevent delays to their funding.”
