As you may be aware, London Met University has had its Highly Trusted Status (HTS) revoked and is now unable to sponsor visas for students outside of the EU. Read about this here.

This means that over 2000 international students studying there now no longer have a visa, and unless they are able to find another institution to study at, they will not be able to come to the UK.

The National Union of Students (NUS) is trying to fight this. They believe that changes the government have made to immigration policies have caused this problem. To try and change their minds, the NUS is trying to get statements from international students at ANY university who believe that the immigration rules are hostile and unwelcoming to international students.

Have you, as an international student, been put off from coming to the UK by the immigration rules?

Any statements made would be incredibly helpful, and potentially help thousands of people. If you would like to make a statement please email it to, or write it in the box below.
