Do You Have a Question For Our Local MP? Tell Us.

Tomorrow, we (your student officers) are meeting with Simon Wright, the MP for Norwich South. We met a couple of weeks ago to talk about some of the issues that UEA students will be facing this year – we spoke about the Islamic Centre, and he said that if enough people contacted him about building an Islamic Centre near campus he would consider finding the funding (contact him here).

We asked him to find out what the University has to do to monitor attendance for international students, because he was meeting with the border agency a few days later. The reason we are meeting with him tomorrow is to follow up after the London Met fiasco, as we haven’t yet heard from Simon.

Tell us your questions. We will ask Simon for you. Whether it’s “what are you going to do for students this year?” or “what colour pants are you wearing?”, let us know and we’ll tell you what he says.
