Is There A Place For Faith On Campus?

The University is looking to review its policies concerning faith on campus. Before it does this, it is hoping to enter into a consultation with all UEA students and staff.

If you wish to have your voice heard about this matter, you should write a response of up to 1500 words and email it to: consultation@uea.ac.uk

All faith groups, and those without faith are encouraged to respond.

Respondents are also invited to address the following questions if they wish.

  • What are the practical and religious considerations which the University needs to consider in the provision of facilities for prayer and religious observance?
  • How can the University best ensure safety, fairness and equality of opportunity in the allocation and organisation of facilities for prayer and religious observance?

Deadline for responses: 5:00pm Friday 26th October 2012

  1. Students Union on behalf of all the religious groups on campus
  2. UEA Chaplains
  3. All Staff
  4. Staff Trade Unions
  5. All Students
