Callout: Go Green Week art competition!

go green logo ueaGo Green Week is the premier green event on the student calendar, happening at universities all around the country to raise awareness on green issues and inspire students to live a greener lifestyle.

The Go Green Week art competition, hosted by photography society, art society and UEA People & Planet in conjunction with the Union, invites you to get creative for a great cause. We want your artistic submissions on the theme of ‘inspiring people to go green’. All finalists will be exhibited in the Hive for the duration of Go Green Week, which starts on the 11th Feb. There are some great prizes on offer: for the top prize, a £20 voucher for a meal for two at the Pulse café, and three pairs of LCR tickets as runner up prizes.

Entries can be photographs, paintings, drawings and poetry.  Please include your full name, title and contact details with submission.

The deadline for entries is Friday 8th February.

To submit your entries, and for all other enquiries, please email, or you can submit a physical copy of your work to the Student Officer Centre.

Go Green Week art competition Terms and Conditions

• Submissions open for UEA students only due to funding prize restrictions.

• must be the artists own work

• artwork submitted by email must be received no later than midnight on February 8th 2013.

• the artist agree that the artwork submitted may be exhibited as part of the Go Green Week exhibition on-line or at the chosen exhibition venue.

• the artist agree unconditionally that the competition organisers may reproduce any exhibited artwork for discussion and education in direct connection with the Go Green Week artist exhibition.
