Self Defence/Personal Safety Training

Norfolk Constabulary are working with the Union in providing a free course to students who may benefit from personal safety avoidance and awareness techniques, this is part of the Part-Lighting campaign in Norwich which has threatened student safety. These life skills will benefit attendees and the event promotes straightforward, practical advice and key messages that will also provide a real tangible skill.’ The Course will run on the 6th November in Union House Room 1.33, there will be two courses running on the day; one from 10am-1pm and another from 1.30-4.30pm, staff and students can sign up to attend the course by emailing union.community@uea.ac.uk or sign up at Union House reception
