The UUEAS is looking for students to facilitate one hour workshops to small groups of local, older residents at The Phoenix Centre in Mile Cross, Norwich.
We are looking for all sorts of different student led workshops and activities to offer local residents. Creative, fun and engaging activities will offer social stimulation to often isolated people from the surrounding Mile Cross community and will provide an opportunity for older and younger generations to come together and interact in a positive way.
Could your club or society organise a Creative writing, Puppet making, Dancing, Singing, Board Games, Jewellery making, Drawing and painting, Bingo or gentle exercise (such as yoga, salsa or aerobics) session? Have you got another idea for a workshop you could put on?
We need clubs, societies and general students to get involved on the following dates (you only need to run one session not three):
- Tues 28th Jan, 1.30pm-2.30pm
- Tues 25th Feb, 1.30pm-2.30pm
- Tues 25th March, 1.30pm-2.30pm
Interested? If so, please contact Victoria – firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to book a session.
