Looking for funding to start your own business?

Do you dream of becoming your own boss? Or have you got an idea that could make a difference to people or planet? Whatever your reason for wanting to start a business, we’ve got funding to help.

UEA now has funding grants available for any student with a brilliant business idea – but you need to submit an application by 5pm, Friday March 28, so don’t delay.

If you’ve got a great concept, you can apply for ‘try it’ funding of up to £500 to test it out. These grants are quick to agree, easy to access and managed by the Enterprise team.

If your plans are more advanced, you can apply for up to £3,000 for things like covering business costs and expenses (although not wages) to help you get trading.

You can work alone, or with a group of friends – and all funding allocations will be supported with mentoring and access to space in UEA’s enterprise hatchery.

For more information on how to get your application started, email info.enterprise@uea.ac.uk or visit www.uea.ac.uk/studententerprise.’
