Anti-Fees & Cuts

The Union has policy stating that we believe in free education for all and that we oppose the marketisation of education. Youth unemployment, immigration, post-study work visas, EMA, NHS funding, abuse of outreach funding, a flawed funding system, unpaid internships…there are so many different things that are rooted in national cuts that will affect UEA students. A great example is the closure of the School of Music last year, which was a product of a governmental research framework and restructuring of university recruitment processes that pushed UEA towards a decision that has had a hugely negative impact on UEA students’ lives.

Join us on the National Demo. Vote on the poll if you think this is important!
