Go Global Week is a celebration of global culture at UEA! It’s hosted by the Union of UEA Students, the UEA Dean of Students International Team, UEA Careers & Employability, the Sainsbury’s Centre for Visual Arts & the Sportspark… but mostly run by volunteers – so we need you! There’s loads of exciting stuff going on this year, so please get involved!
How do I get involved?
Firstly, if you are interested in sharing your culture by performing, speaking, running a stall, running a ‘give it a go’ session or a language taster, showing off traditional clothing, bringing traditional food, anything like that at any point during the week then that sounds fantastic! If you could please fill out this form and return it to Matt (firstname.lastname@example.org), Gavin (email@example.com) or Union Reception in Union House.
Secondly, we need blog entries! Share your culture, tell everybody about your favourite place in the world, tell everybody about any global issues that you care about – we need photos, articles, videos, audio recordings, anything you could possibly give us! We will post it on this blog, and hopefully lots of people will see it 🙂
