This year’s Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (RRR) scheme will take place over the weekend of June 15th and 16th.
We will be looking for students to volunteer to help collect bags of items from student residences that will be reused or recycled. If you would like to volunteer to help out, please contact our Advice Centre Team: firstname.lastname@example.org. Each student who volunteers to help out will receive £15 union vouchers as a thank you.
The campaign is always a joint Union and UEA project and this year we are working with Oxfam and the Norwich Food Bank; we want all of the items that you no longer have any use for. If you live on campus in University residences, look our for different coloured bags appearing in your kitchen. You can place all of your unwanted items in the bags, as follows:
In the white UEA sack all of your unwanted kitchenware.
In the Oxfam bag any unwanted clothes, books, bedding, DVDs, CDs and any other bric a brac.
In the clear plastic bag unwanted duvets and towels.
In the cardboard box any unopened and non-perishable food items.
